Established in 2005 as a spin-out from the University’s International Centre for Computing and Virtual Entertainment (IC CAVE), ADD Knowledge is embedding the entire Scottish primary school curriculum within state-of-the-art video games, delivered free-of-charge to every child in Scotland, including a free video game console.
ADD Knowledge aims to capture the home study opportunity to enhance classroom performance by primary school children using proven methods, giving Scottish children a significant head start by secondary school.
ADD Knowledge is working with Learning and Teaching Scotland, the national public body which provides guidance and support for teachers, school managers, local authorities, parents and others involved in education in Scotland.

biometrics. It has acquired the intellectual property and trade name of
SecuriVox. The
SecuriVox Voice Biometric Software product range enables identification
and verification of a person through their unique voice characteristics.
SecuriVox’s technology adds a new level of biometric security to applications ranging from phone banking to automated check-in. Simply by capturing a short utterance it can ensure that an individual is who they say they are, regardless of how they choose to make contact.
SecuriVox speaker verification technology protects businesses and their customers from identity fraud and password abuse, while reducing costs by enabling both automated and background verification.
