Abertay offers a friendly, quiet and welcoming environment in which to study. We have students from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. International students are represented from over 60 countries around the world so we truly are an international centre.
The University is conveniently located on a city centre campus, with all of its buildings within a quarter of a mile of each other. Shops, recreational facilities and the main bus and train stations are but a short walk away. The main buildings, Old College and Kydd Building are in the Bell Street complex, grouped around the University's outstanding award-winning library and Student Centre.
These buildings house the majority of teaching departments, the University's administrative offices, student refectory, research centres, and library. There is always a friendly atmosphere as students come and go to lectures, meet with staff, study for exams, and attend tutorials and seminars.
