Students on our EU Articulation scheme studying with us for a full academic year or more usually benefit from free tuition fees for studying at Abertay University. A period of study of just one semester is also possible but normally a one-semester only student would be required to pay the relevant ‘home/EU’ tuition fee – currently about GBP910.
Free tuition fees are normally available for suitably qualified EU and Scottish undergraduate (and a limited number of postgraduate) students who are EU citizens. This is because the University of Abertay Dundee is in Scotland and the Scottish Government’s agency, SAAS, pays the tuition fees.
As well as free tuition fees, living in Dundee is very affordable. A recent report showed that living costs for students in Dundee are the lowest of any other Scottish university city/town, and the city of Dundee is the third lowest cost student location in the whole of the UK.
These are the recently published findings of the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Student Living Index study. Read more about the findings in the RBS Student Living Document report.
Please note that Erasmus student mobility grants are not usually paid to students on this scheme.
