Taster Days

AA5_000 Taster Days give Senior Secondary pupils an insight into studying a particular subject at the University of Abertay Dundee. A typical Taster Day starts at 10.00am with an overview of the University and then pupils and teachers get involved in a variety of hands-on activities. A tour of the library and lunch is normally included with pupils free to leave the University after 3.00pm.

Recent Taster Days have focused on Biology, Economics, Psychology, Internet & Communication Technologies, Food Science, Nursing, Social & Cultural Studies, and Business & Management. Past students have found this an invaluable and fun day, working with Abertay staff who have real-life experience in the crime field.
