Visiting us

All visitors should report to the main reception in the Kydd Building when they arrive at the University. You can download and print a map with directions to the University of Abertay.

Driving directions can also be generated from Google Maps.

Please note that from 4 May there will be roadwords on the Tay Road Bridge. There may be some delays, so please plan ahead. Further information is available in the Tay bridge ramps leaflet and on the Dundee Waterfront website.

By rail, Dundee station

We are just ten minutes' short walk from the train station. There are taxis available outside its main entrance. Journey information is available from National Rail Enquiries. Tickets can be bought directly from East Coast and Virgin Rail.

By bus

We are just ten minutes' short walk from the bus station. There are taxis available in Trades Lane. (National Express and Citylink)

By air, Dundee Airport

Dundee Airport, located in the heart of Scotland, is the most convenient fly-in destination for some 1000 square miles of central Scotland and operates flights to and from London City (ScotAirways), and Birmingham and Belfast City (Flybe).

Taxis are available upon request from outside Dundee Airport and should take approximately ten minutes to arrive at the University.
