About Abertay

Course/module information

1. I need a copy of programme/module content

Former student should apply for Course/Module Information via the Abertay Online Store- https://onlinestore.abertay.ac.uk/ The cost of this is £40 (inclusive of postage). Registry will normally retain this documentation for ten academic sessions, e.g. in 2009/10 structures for session 1999/2000 onwards will be available. This type of information cannot be released by telephone, fax or email. Syllabus information will be issued normally within ten working days of request.

Please note that in busy periods, particularly between June and October, it can take longer and you should ensure that you request such documents in good time. Note that in some instances, Registry's record of structures/module descriptors may be incomplete. Where this is the case, a refund will be made for any requested item which is unavailable.

2. I studied with you many years ago – can you help?

Registry will normally retain documentation for ten academic sessions. For example, in 2004/5 course/module content and module information for session 1994/5 will normally be available. The University of Abertay was awarded university status in 1994. The Open University has custody of all CNAA records – the awarding body for the institution prior to the award of university status. The Data Protection Act applies no matter when you studied with us, and you should follow the advice given above.
