Our Preparation Quiz helps you to get ready to start your new course with a clear idea of your study skills, strengths and weaknesses.  Each question is followed by advice tailored to your needs.  The quiz finishes with suggestions for study skills handouts that you might find especially useful.

The A to Z of Studying at University is our comprehensive guide to help on the range of study skills, from taking better notes in class to improving your revision and exam techniques.  It also includes a glossary to university jargon and coursework instruction words. 

The Library have an excellent How do I? section to help you identify what you need if you are to make the most of the resouces available to you whilst studying.

SELF is an online interactive programme which is structured and supported to maximise all your learning experiences whilst at University. It has been designed to enable each individual to reflect, evaluate, record and develop their own life and learning experiences within academic, career and personal contexts.
