The purpose of the Orientation week is to introduce you to the University, your programme of study and to help you familiarise yourself with the structures, study methods and various support at Abertay. It is also an excellent opportunity for you to meet other like-minded students and socialise on campus. You can access your orientation week timetable and personalise it with a number of optional sessions - use the following instructions to download your timetable.
Step 1
Please enter your student ID number and date of birth and click on 'Show me my programme' button.
Step 2
You will notice that your mandatory sessions are highlighted in red - these are sessions that you must attend. There are also a number of optional sessions throughout the week. If you wish to attend any of these sessions, you will need to tick the box next to the session title. Please click on the info icon if you wish to find out more about the sessions.
Note (EU students only)
The "Students Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS)" session (Tuesday, 11 September, 16:00-17:00 or Thursday, 13 September, 13:00-14:00) is a mandatory session for EU students. These students should select and attend one of the sessions.
Students from the Institute of Arts, Media and Computer Games (AMG) must attend the Thursday session.
