Dr Martin Tangney, Director of the Biofuel Research Centre at Napier University, will be giving a lecture at Abertay University tomorrow (Tuesday 18th November) at 7pm. At this lecture, Dr Tangney will pose the question: ‘biofuel – hope or hope?’
Dr Tangney will discuss the global race to internationalise biofuels that are considered CO2 neutral and do not contribute to global warming, the ethical issues surrounding different biofuels currently under development, and debate which of the these developing biofuels will ultimately prevail.
The lecture is free and open to all members of the public and will be held in the main lecture theatre of the Kydd Building on Bell Street at 7pm.
