NEWS RELEASE
18 January 2008
Two students from the Dundee Business School at Abertay are now fully paid up members of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) thanks to their essay writing skills.
St Andrew’s native David Gibb, a first year Dip HE Business and Management student, and Business Studies student Ciara Norman from Belfast submitted their essays under the heading of ‘How can Business Schools today provide an education fit to develop the managers of the future?’.
The winning pair were chosen by academic staff from the Dundee Business School and their prize - a year’s subscription to the CMI – was paid for by the School.
Professor Malcolm said: “Membership of the CMI means access to a wide range of resources which will be invaluable to David and Ciara in their studies and career planning.
“I congratulate them on their success and hope they enjoy their prize and the remainder of their studies.”
