Outstanding Contribution Rewarded

Professor John McLeod from the University of Abertay Dundee’s School of Social and Health Sciences has been rewarded for his outstanding contribution to research in counselling and psychotherapy by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Professor McLeod received his award at the Association’s annual awards ceremony held recently at the National Exhibition Centre in Birminghm.

Speaking afterwards Professor McLeod said: “I am honoured that a prestigious organisation like the BACP has recognised my work and chosen to reward my efforts.”

The BACP is the largest and broadest body in the counselling and psychotherapy sector. It works with the NHS and voluntary organisations as well as giving support to independent practitioners.
