Working to Recovery with Dorothy Rowe

Renowned Clinical Psychologist Dorothy Rowe will hold a workshop and give a lecture at the University of Abertay Dundee on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 November 2007.

The lecture, entitled An Hour of Power, has been organised by Working to Recovery – a training and consultancy company that specialises in mental health practice - and will take place in the University’s lecture theatre (1517) between 7.00pm and 8.30pm on Thursday 8 November.

Over the course of the evening Dorothy and Ron Coleman from Working to Recovery will speak about depression and recovery before taking questions from the audience.

The following day, Friday 9 November, Dorothy will host a one day workshop tackling the way depression is viewed and how changing that view is key to escaping from its clutches.

Tickets to the lecture on Thursday 8 November cost £12 with concessions for students and the unemployed.

The workshop will be held at Dudhope Castle between 9.30am and 4.30pm; places are limited and cost £160 plus VAT.
