ABERTAY STUDENTS DRESS UP WALK IN AID OF COMIC RELIEF
9 March 2007
Three Abertay University students are organising a fancy dress sponsored walk across the Tay Road Bridge in aid of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.
Julie McConnachie, Graeme Broomhall and Tracy McPherson, all second year Sport, Health & Exercise students, are hoping to encourage as many people as possible to participate in what will be a healthy and fun filled event. Prizes will be handed out at Abertay’s Student Centre after the walk for the best costumes.
The walk will take place on Thursday 15 March with participants meeting at the Dundee side of the Bridge at 12 noon. All age groups are welcome, though children under 14 years should be accompanied by an adult. As well as raising sponsorship, all those taking part in the walk are asked to donate £1.
If you are interested in donning fancy dress and raising money for charity then please contact Julie McConnachie at 0500830@abertay.ac.uk for application and sponsorship forms.
